What is PDF Guru?

PDF Guru is a web-based PDF editor and document management platform that brings all the tools you need into one place. You can edit text and images, convert files between formats, recognize text in scanned files with OCR, fill out or create forms, or use AI to summarize long reports or contracts. And there’s a whole lot more waiting for you inside, with new features added regularly to make working with PDF files easier.

How does PDF Guru work? 

With PDF Guru, editing a PDF is simple. You don’t need to install anything: open it in your browser, upload your file, and start.

4. OCR technology
If you have scanned PDFs or image files, the OCR tool can quickly convert them into searchable and editable text. This tool preserves the original layout, so the document still looks the same. We confirmed with their support team that it recognizes more than 190 languages and can even handle handwritten text.

5. AI PDF summarizer
This tool takes a report, book, lesson materials, or even a research paper and turns it into a simple summary. PDF Guru offers a large library of ready-made templates that you can adapt to your needs. You’ll find everything from invoices and travel forms to applications, progress reports, agreements, and marketing documents. 

8. Forms
In the forms library, everything is organized into clear sections: tax, employment & HR, legal, business, healthcare, insurance, education, military, real estate, and other forms.

Each form comes with a plain explanation that tells you who it’s for, when you need it, and how to complete it step by step. With the PDF Guru form-filling features, you can complete the form right in the editor.

Pros and cons

 It’s worth clearing up how the PDF Guru form submission process works. Some people think that once you fill out a form, it can be sent directly through the tool, but that’s not how it works.

This PDF reader is designed to help you find the right form, fill it out easily, and download it. The actual submission still needs to be done separately on the official website or with the institution that requires the form.
